Therapy Gardens is looking for local presenters who enjoy working with people and sharing simple, engaging activities. These are occasional, paid opportunities to lead small workshops in community settings such as libraries, senior centers, community centers, and similar venues.


This is a great role for people who enjoy presenting, teaching, facilitating, or leading groups—without committing to a regular schedule.


What You’ll Do


As a Therapy Gardens presenter, you’ll lead friendly, relaxed programs that bring people together around food, gardening, creativity, and conversation.


Examples of programs include:


  • Tea blending

  • Spice mix workshops

  • Tiny gardens and terrariums

  • Soup mix creation

  • Seasonal craft or food-themed activities

  • Light educational talks with tastings


Programs are designed to be approachable, social, and enjoyable, especially for older adults and community groups.


Details


  • $30 per hour

  • Paid training

  • Flexible schedule

  • Contracted (1099)

  • Most programs run weekday afternoons or early evenings

  • We handle marketing, booking, billing, and logistics — you focus on delivering a great experience

  • All materials provided


What Makes This Role Different

  • Present occasionally or more often depending on availability


Most programs are 60 minutes and materials and structure are provided.


Pay


💵 $30 per hour


Ideal Candidates

  • A teacher, retired educator, or community presenter

  • Comfortable speaking to groups

  • Friendly, reliable, and organized

  • Interested in gardening, food, wellness, or community activities

  • Looking for flexible occasional work


Previous teaching or presenting experience is helpful but not required.
