🌿Work With Us

🌿Become a Therapy Gardens Presenter

Occasional Local Workshops • Flexible Schedule • Meaningful Work

Are you looking for something interesting and meaningful to do occasionally?

Therapy Gardens is looking for local presenters to lead short, engaging workshops in libraries, senior centers, and community organizations.

This is flexible, paid work you can do when you want — a great lifestyle opportunity for people who enjoy connecting with others and sharing meaningful activities.

💵 $30 per hour

Many of our presenters are retired professionals — teachers, gardeners, hobbyists, food lovers, and community members who simply enjoy sharing what they know.

🌿What You'll Do

As a Therapy Gardens presenter, you’ll lead friendly, relaxed programs that bring people together through food, gardening, creativity, and conversation.

Programs typically run 45–60 minutes and focus on simple, enjoyable activities.

Examples include:

  • Tea blending workshops

  • Spice mix creation

  • Tiny gardens and terrariums

  • Soup mix workshops

  • Seasonal craft or food programs

  • Educational tastings and discussions

Programs are designed to be social, welcoming, and easy to lead, especially for older adults and community groups.

🌿A True Lifestyle Opportunity

This is occasional work that fits your life, not a fixed schedule.

You can:

  • Accept opportunities when they fit your schedule

  • Work in your local community

  • Present occasionally or more often — your choice

Many presenters enjoy this role as a meaningful side activity rather than a traditional job.

🌿What We Provide

We make presenting easy.

Therapy Gardens provides:

  • All program materials

  • Paid training

  • Program structure and guidance

  • Opportunities to present locally

You don’t have to invent programs or purchase supplies — everything is designed to be simple, engaging, and enjoyable to lead.

🌿Who This is Great For

You might enjoy this opportunity if you:

  • Are comfortable speaking with small groups

  • Enjoy gardening, food, wellness, or creative activities

  • Have teaching, presenting, or facilitation experience

  • Like meeting people and creating positive experiences

  • Want flexible occasional work

Experience is helpful, but enthusiasm, reliability, and friendliness matter most.

🌿Where Programs Take Place

Therapy Gardens programs are held in community venues near where you live, including:

  • Libraries

  • Community centers

  • Recreation programs

Workshops are designed to be engaging, social experiences that bring people together.
