About Sedum Cutting
Sedum is a hardy, low-maintenance succulent known for its soft texture and ability to thrive with very little water. Its bright green color and trailing growth make it a perfect fit for miniature terrariums and fairy gardens.
Your sedum may appear slightly dormant or compressed when it arrives in the box โ thatโs completely normal. Because sedum stores moisture in its leaves, it can typically remain healthy in the packaging for several days to a few weeks before planting, especially if kept in a cool indoor location out of direct sunlight.
To plant your sedum, gently press the roots or stem base into the soil or moss layer and lightly firm it in place. Once planted, it will usually perk back up quickly with indirect light and a light misting or small amount of water.
We use sedum because itโs beginner-friendly, visually appealing, resilient during shipping and storage, and easy to maintain in miniature garden environments.
