Hazelnut Chocolate Mousse:
200g dark chocolate, finely chopped
1/2 cup roasted hazelnuts, finely ground
1 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup sugar
3 large egg yolks
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Hazelnut White Chocolate Mousse:
200g white chocolate, finely chopped
1/2 cup hazelnut butter
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Hazelnut Chocolate Ganache:
100g milk chocolate, finely chopped
1/4 cup hazelnuts, finely chopped
1/2 cup heavy cream
Garnish:
Toasted hazelnuts for decoration
Hazelnut liqueur for drizzling (optional)
Instructions:
1. Hazelnut Chocolate Mousse:
a. Melt the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water or in the microwave, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
b. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
c. In another bowl, whisk together the sugar and egg yolks until pale and fluffy. Add vanilla extract and continue to whisk.
d. Gently fold the melted chocolate into the egg mixture until well combined.
e. Carefully fold in the ground hazelnuts.
f. Finally, fold in the whipped cream until the mixture is smooth and well incorporated.
2. Hazelnut White Chocolate Mousse:
a. Melt the white chocolate in a heatproof bowl. Allow it to cool slightly.
b. In a large bowl, beat the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
c. Gently fold the melted white chocolate into the whipped cream.
d. Add the hazelnut butter and continue folding until well combined.
3. Hazelnut Chocolate Ganache:
a. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it just starts to simmer.
b. Pour the hot cream over the chopped milk chocolate and let it sit for a minute.
c. Stir the mixture until smooth and glossy.
d. Fold in the finely chopped hazelnuts.
4. Assembly:
a. Spoon a layer of Hazelnut Chocolate Mousse into serving glasses or bowls.
b. Add a layer of Hazelnut White Chocolate Mousse on top.
c. Finish with a generous layer of Hazelnut Chocolate Ganache.
5. Garnish:
a. Top each serving with toasted hazelnuts for a delightful crunch.
b. Optionally, drizzle a small amount of hazelnut liqueur over the mousse for added flavor.
6. Chill:
Refrigerate the Hazelnut Heaven Chocolate Mousse for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld and the mousse to set.
7. Serve:
