Frozen Banana Snack

If you're watching your salt and sugar intake, here's a great recipe with only two ingredients that satisfies a sweet tooth, without any sugar. (Bananas do have a good amount of carbs though, so keep that in mind.)

  • Cut banana slices into 1-inch round chunks, lay flat on a dish or cookie sheet, and freeze for about an hour.

  • Process frozen banana slices in food processor until smooth and creamy.

  • Halfway through, add one teaspoon of unsweetened cocoa powder.

  • Freeze in small containers and have as an "ice cream" snack when the urge hits.

Next time I'm going to add a few frozen strawberries, or maybe a drop of vanilla.
